Strategic Corporate Finance Inc. was formed to serve as an advisory firm to the mid-market with the purpose of providing high quality, value added advice on strategy and transactions.

Founder, Des Layland, shares 25 years of experience having worked with both privately held mid-market companies as well as large-cap public companies. His industry experience includes technology/media/communications as well as the more traditional industries including manufacturing, services, infrastructure, mining and oil & gas. He combines an understanding of clients' businesses with knowledge of how legal and financial issues, marketing documents, technical matters, modeling, negotiations and, most importantly, people interact on complex deals. Des has a proven capability in creating solutions and his objective is to build long-term relationships with clients.
